Alpine, the exclusive sports cars brand within the Renault Group, is ready for the Mondial de l’Auto Paris 2026 with the new Alpine A290 Collection trim level and A390 Atelier Alpine specifications, emphasizing “the model’s sporting and upscale character.”
The brand, established in 1955 by Jean Rédélé, built its reputation on French-style sports cars before Renault acquired it in 1973. Alpine’s modern revival began in 2018 with the A110, built around principles of compactness, lightweight design, agility, and driving pleasure. The company expanded in 2021 with the Alpine Business Unit, merging Alpine Racing and Alpine Cars operations.
Dream Garage Program and Model Launches
Alpine launched its 100% electric “Dream Garage” program, introducing the A290 hot hatchback in 2024 and the A390 “sport fastback” in 2025. The company will reveal additional details on September 28 ahead of the brand’s arrival at the Paris Motor Show.
At the show, Alpine will present the style of the third-generation A110 alongside the extended Atelier Alpine program. This initiative now covers both the A290 and A390, offering new colors, trims, and finishes. The A290 Collection trim level enhances personalization for the electric hot hatch, available on both 180 and 220 ps powertrains.

A290 Collection Trim Details
The A290 Collection trim features standard Blanc Nival paint with a black roof, body-colored wheel arches, 19-inch diamond-cut Snowflake wheels, and exclusive silver front brake calipers. Inside, the cabin combines Bleu Profond with Gris Evee, and includes a heated black steering wheel.
Optional exterior treatments include Bleu Orage Mat paint with a black roof. Customers can add Telemetry, Pack Safety with ADAS, and custom elements like a French flag on the C-pillar, blue steering wheel center, or blue wheel caps.
A390 Atelier Alpine Specifications
The A390 offers expanded Atelier Alpine options, including a GTS model in Bleu Tempête Mat with a black roof. It features Alpine sport seats by Sabelt in genuine leather Nappa gris, Alpine monogram “Or pale” upholstery, 21-inch forged “Snowflake” wheels, and carbon Damier mat on the console and dashboard along with a Sabelt rear seat shell.
Additionally, a GT Atelier Alpine variant uses Bleu Alpine Vision paint with a black roof and 20-inch Comète alloy wheels. The five-seater electric sport fastback (coupe-SUV) has all-wheel drive and three electric motors, enabling the Alpine Active Torque Vectoring setup.
