Aston Martin has expanded its DBX family with the new GT variant, a version that aims to raise the bar for luxury, elegance, and refinement while maintaining the power levels the brand has established for its SUV line. The DBX GT shares the same 727-horsepower engine as the DBX S, focusing on a more subtle appearance and a cabin oriented toward comfort.

Design Details and Materials

The DBX GT presents a distinctive aesthetic starting from the front fascia. It features a grille with horizontal slats available in either glossy or dark finishes, extending to the side air intakes that incorporate the daytime running lights. The hood retains functional vents, while the vehicle includes wheel arch skirts, a rear bumper, and a rear diffuser finished in the body color. At the rear, the exhaust system uses a specific layout with four oval outlets, positioned horizontally in pairs rather than vertically as seen on the DBX S. Wheels are forged alloy units available in 22 or 23-inch sizes with Satin Titanium finish and Pirelli Scorpion Zero All-Season tires.

Inside, the cabin receives a focus on quiet luxury and exclusivity. Seats, both front and rear, feature new padding with a 10-millimeter memory foam layer. Rear passengers sit in individual, sculpted seats that still maintain five-seat homologation. The roof is a panoramic glass unit as standard. The interior uses semi-aniline leather with monochrome, two-tone, or three-tone combinations, enhanced by hand-stitched detailing and exclusive embroidery.

Each front seat requires over four and a half hours of craftsmanship and nearly 700 meters of thread. Other standard features include a three-zone climate control system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touch infotainment screen, heated and ventilated front seats with 16-way adjustment, a complete ADAS suite, and an 800-watt, 14-speaker audio system, with a Bowers & Wilkins option available on request.

Performance and Road manners

Under the hood, the DBX GT utilizes the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 found in the DBX S. This engine produces 727 horsepower and 900 Newton-meters of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 310 km/h. The vehicle retains the 12-meter turning circle and carbon-ceramic brake discs measuring 420 mm at the front and 390 mm at the rear. To prioritize composure, the car includes a recalibrated accelerator pedal response and a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The suspension system has been updated with specific valve dampers to better filter road imperfections and variable-rate springs. Two longitudinal dampers are placed between the body and the rear subframe to improve stability and linearity. A notable change is the exhaust note, which is tuned to be quieter and more discreet in GT mode, reverting to a more engaging sound in Sport and Sport+ settings.

Market Positioning and Availability

La Aston Martin DBX GT, della quale non è ancora stato svelato il prezzo, farà il suo debutto sul mercato nelle prossime settimane con le prime consegne ai clienti previste entro la fine del 2026.
