Stellantis Pro One has opened orders in Italy for the new Smart Compact Van (SCV), available in four versions: Citroën Berlingo Van FIRST, Fiat Professional Doblò EasyPRO, Opel Combo START, and Peugeot Partner ACTIVE. The vehicle targets small and medium enterprises and new entrepreneurs with a competitive entry price, modular seating, and multiple powertrain options including an electric variant with up to 270 km range.
Modular Design and Flexible Interior
The SCV features the Flexiseat, a foldable passenger seat that increases cargo volume by 0.5 cubic meters. This modular design allows professionals to customize their workspace. The system can be paired with the Modutable accessory, which converts the van into a mobile office or portable workstation. The Modutable can be installed at any point during the vehicle’s lifecycle, offering adaptability as business needs evolve.
Stellantis Pro One’s design philosophy stems from research showing that most commercial drivers work solo and prioritize cargo capacity over three-passenger seating. The Flexiseat and Modutable address these findings directly, enhancing practicality for daily use.
Multi-Energy Powertrain Options
The SCV offers multiple powertrains to suit varying operational needs. The top variant is the fully electric version, delivering the highest range available in the lineup. Three thermal engines are also available: two diesel and one gasoline, all paired with manual transmissions. A mild-hybrid version will join the lineup next year, expanding fuel efficiency options for customers.
